About the Author

I came to trading late in life, as I approached retirement from a long career that included piloting airplanes and teaching English. I’d always had an interest in the stock market, and that interest became more focused when my son introduced me to option trading. So I dabbled with options for about a year before I retired; then I began serious studying and practicing using a paper account. I wish my son had survived his cancer and could be by my side as I have navigated the path to learning options. I’m no mystic, but with every trade I make I feel his presence.
