I write this blog primarily for me, to facilitate my personal style of learning, which depends upon writing my thoughts.To write about about something compliments doing something in vital ways. Practicing any skill is essential, but writing forces a linear form of thinking that organizes and priortizes our thoughts. Writing is a tool, a technology that has profoundly changed our species. In The Medium is the Message Marshall McLuhan wrote, “Until writing was invented, man lived in acoustic space: boundless, directionless, horizonless, in the dark of the mind, in the world of emotion, by primordial intuition, by terror.” A tool like writing is essential for us to survive financial markets that function in a boundless ocean of greed and fear.
